What are the Dallas Fire Explorers?

The Dallas Fire Explorer Program is designed for teens who are interested in firefighting and paramedicine. The group is composed of kids from the ages of 14 to 21 from all over the metroplex. The program offers training in firefighting and emergency medical services that Dallas Fire Rescue provides for the City of Dallas. After completing basic training, they are allowed to participate in the ride along part of the program.
